Bills Predicted To Draft Diggs Replacement for Josh

Stefon Diggs is not walking through the doors of Orchard Park anymore.

That's perfectly OK for the Buffalo Bills. They have done their due diligence in making sure they have plenty of receivers who they can rely on to match what Diggs once was as an All-Pro player during his run with the team.

Just because Buffalo has done a great job in retooling the receiver room doesn't mean they are done with the position, though.

In fact, one mock draft has the team taking a second-round pick on TCU product Savion Williams to help enhance the group even more.

"At one point, Savion Williams seemed like a hidden gem. He then showed off his talent during the NFL Combine and could catapult himself into the second night of the draft," SI writes. "Buffalo selects him at No. 56 in this mock, giving them a chess piece on offense. Williams is a capable wideout but also does damage out of the backfield. He was also a kick returner as a freshman, giving him one more way to help."

In five seasons with the Horned Frogs, Williams recorded 137 catches for over 1,600 yards receiving. He is considered a raw wideout prospect but would join a very talented group and take pressure off himself.

Could he eventually be a Stefon replacement? That's the dream.

Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman and the recently signed Joshua Palmer are expected to be the top targets in Buffalo next season with Dalton Kincaid helping at tight end.

There are only so many targets to have on an offense like Buffalo's though. And the Williams pick could be a luxury the team would be happy to have at this point.
