Top Bills 340-Pound Draft Prospect Turns Head At Pro Day

At the start of free agency, it appeared that the Buffalo Bills had found a way to solve one of their biggest holes on the roster from last season. In 2024, Buffalo finished 19th in the league in yards per carry allowed - a weakness that was exploited in their AFC Title loss.

Buffalo hoped the additions of Larry Ogunjobi and Michael Hoecht would help with that concern. For a moment they looked to do exactly that.

With both players suspended, though, the Bills have to go back to the drawing board to determine which players they can rely on to help their young and dominant defense.

One of those could come from the NFL Draft in April.

Michigan's Kenneth Grant (6-4, 340) doesn't come with the same popularity as Mason Graham is walking into, but that doesn't mean he isn't a first-round quality player.

In fact, following his workout in Michigan's Pro-Day, the Wolverine star dominated in a way that reminded many people of former Georgia standout and first-round pick Jordan Davis of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Grant may not be the same athlete but his RAS scoring and overall tests have compared very nicely to Davis at this time as well.

There's a very good chance that the Bills will need to find a defensive tackle early in the 2025 Draft and Grant could fit that role excellently. The only question will be if he's available in the later first-round area.

As things stand, in terms of his availability there ... it doesn't look promising after a top workout at his Pro Day.
