Steven Gerrard Opens Up on How Steven Gerrard and Peter Crouch were in hysterics after Liverpool Legends defeated Chelsea 2-0 at Anfield. The Reds secured victory thanks to two goals from Crouch, who came on at half-time.
Liverpool dominated most of the match in a competitive but friendly atmosphere. The game was part of the LFC Foundation’s annual charity event. The club has raised over £7.5m from previous Legends matches.
Funds support both local and international causes. Speaking after the match, Gerrard and Crouch stressed the importance of charity. However, they also enjoyed the intense competition on the pitch.

Gerrard hilariously opens on post match celebration
Jay Spearing’s aggressive tackles left them laughing, especially after clashes with Dennis Wise.“Listen, you want to win,” Gerrard said according to ECHO.
“Just see Jay Spearing for details, he’s got about four yellow cards, hasn’t he? “
Crouch burst into laughter before adding: “I don’t think Dennis Wise was too happy with him in the first half!” Gerrard couldn’t stop laughing at that remark.
Before the game, Sir Kenny Dalglish reminded them of their goal. “Kenny says to us before the game it’s for a great cause but we want to win as well,” Gerrard revealed. “Whatever the boss says!”
When asked about post-match celebrations, Gerrard had a humorous response.
“Ice bath, first and foremost,” he said. “And then have a few beers later, innit? You got any now?”
Liverpool’s Legends enjoyed both victory and charity success. Their celebrations were likely as entertaining as their performance.
