Chelsea’s academy has produced a lot of talented players in recent years.
Some are still at Stamford Bridge, while others are thriving at different Premier League grounds. For example, Chelsea still have Reece James and Levi Colwill on their books but sold Marc Guehi to Crystal Palace in 2021.
It is thought, though, that Chelsea now want to re-sign Guehi. The Blues also have some academy products out on loan, such as Armando Broja and Alfie Gilchrist.
However, the former’s long-term future at Chelsea appears to be in serious doubt.

Armando Broja likely to be sold this summer
Broja is currently at Everton on loan, but the striker’s time at Goodison Park is not going too well.
Broja has only been able to make six league appearances this season because of injury, not being able to show his parent club what he is capable of.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are now set to put the 23-year-old on the market and are hoping to find a permanent buyer for him.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said: “Armando Broja, Chelsea have big respect, a player coming from the academy, a good talent, but Chelsea are not believing in Broja as a player who can be an important part of the squad for the future, so I also expect Armando Broja to be on the market.”

Everton fans liked what they saw from Broja after his performance in a 1-1 draw with Manchester City towards the end of last year.
Unfortunately, though, the Albania international has not been able to kick on from there and looks unlikely to find a permanent home in the blue half of Merseyside.

Chelsea set for major clear-out this summer
Broja is not the only Chelsea player expected to leave the club permanently this summer.
There could be up to eight exits at Chelsea once the transfer window opens, Romano has shared.
Individuals such as Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi are also out on loan, and it would now not be a surprise to see them and Broja all exit west London for good.
It is going to be a busy transfer window at Chelsea, with arrivals and exits both on the horizon.
