Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim will hope to see his side continue their good form when they face Nottingham Forest next month.
The Red Devils benefit from an extended period off as they do not feature in the FA Cup quarter-finals, which take place after the current international break.
United therefore don’t return to action until April 1, when they face high-flying Forest at The City Ground.
In the meantime, it has emerged that Man United are one of seven Premier League clubs interested in a Serie A winger.
As reported by CaughtOffside, Manchester United are among a number of top flight clubs monitoring Atalanta star Ademola Lookman.
The 27-year-old – who previously played in England with Charlton Athletic, Everton, Fulham and Leicester City – has been in fine form for Atalanta over the past couple of seasons.
Lookman has attracted interest from several of the Premier League’s biggest clubs
Lookman netted a hat-trick in last season’s Europa League final, and has scored 18 goals in 32 matches across all competitions so far this season.
The report claims that Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are all also keeping tabs on the Nigeria international.
Lookman is contracted to his current side until the end of next season, and the report claims that the Italian club have set an asking piece of around £55 million for the winger, who is expected to depart Bergamo this summer.
Spanish giants Barcelona have contacted the player’s agent to sound out a possible move this summer, while Atletico Madrid and Juventus are both also said to be showing interest in the Nigerian.
Having joined Atalanta from German side RB Leipzig in 2022, Lookman has since scored 50 goals and provided 22 assists in 110 matches for the Italian side in total.
The Nigerian is capable of playing in a number of attacking roles, but primarily operates as a ‘number ten’ or as a central striker.
