Ex Chiefs’ Receiver Explains Social Media Post Regarding Trade

At the end of the regular season former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill was disappointed in his Miami Dolphins teammates. In fact, he stormed out of the visitors' locker room at MetLife Stadium after losing to the New York Jets and said he wanted to be traded.

Hill was disappointed the Dolphins failed to make the playoffs for the first time in his three years with the team. His production also dropped off tremendously due to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missing six games with a concussion and a hip injury.

The dynamic playmaker hauled in 81 passes for 959 yards and six touchdowns in 2024, a far cry from his 2023 season where he caught 119 passes for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Hill and his agent Drew Rosenhaus have since walked the statement back and Hill has made his peace with the Dolphins' front office.

In a social media posting on Sunday, a website unrelated to the team commented it was the third anniversary since Hill was traded to the Dolphins by the Chiefs.

Hill acknowledged the posting and left a five-word message to the team and his fans. It was also apparently a back-handed slap to the Chiefs.

"Changed my life thank you," Hill posted.

Hill was traded by the Chiefs to the Dolphins on March 23, 2022 for five draft picks.

Hill has been shown on social media working out hard to get ready for OTA's. If the Dolphins can keep Tagovailoa healthy and Hill happy, Miami might be able to prove last season was an aberration.
