On March 20, 2025, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong met with Chief Representative Kim Yong-soo of POSCO China. Liu Jinsong introduced the guiding principles of China's two sessions and encouraged ROK companies in China, such as POSCO, to remain confident in the stability of China's comprehensive deepening of reform and opening-up policies, the bright prospects of China's economic development, and the resilience of China-ROK relations. He emphasized the need to uphold the spirit of mutual benefit and win-win results, cultivate and strengthen patient capital, and increase investment and cooperation in digital, intelligent, low-carbon, green and other fields.
