Jadon Sancho has spent the season on loan at Chelsea
Although it does feel as though the international break is coming to a close, Manchester United fans still have to wait eight days before they are next in action. As Ruben Amorim's side have been knocked out of the FA Cup, they do not return until Tuesday, April 1 when they travel to Nottingham Forest.
It's the start of a chaotic period for United with six fixtures in 20 days. Four of them are in the Premier League, while the other two are in the Europa League against Lyon. If United progress further in Europe's second-tier competition, they could be facing as many as three additional matches before the end of the season.
While United are waiting to resume their campaign, a number of Amorim's players have been in action on international duty. In fact, five United stars were present on during Portugal's 5-2 win over Denmark on Sunday evening, with Bruno Fernandes, Patrick Dorgu, Christian Eriksen, Rasmus Hojlund and Diogo Dalot involved.
Here is the latest news from around Old Trafford...
Sancho clause
Chelsea must pay Manchester United £5million if they do not complete the permanent signing of Jadon Sancho, according to The Athletic. Sancho moved to Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan in August with an obligation to buy for £25m.
However, as part of the agreement, Chelsea were allowed the option to opt out of a permanent deal by paying United a set fee instead. That figure is said to be £5m.
MEN says: At this stage, it's unclear whether Chelsea are going to proceed with signing Sancho for good. The 24-year-old started the season well, scoring, assisting and setting up chances, but his form has dropped off a clip in recent months, with the midfielder not directly contributing to a goal since January 4.
His decline in form has concerned some involved with Chelsea, but United felt they didn't have to be worried as the Blues are paying the £25m obligation regardless. But now it has been revealed that Chelsea can get out of the agreement, it's safe to say this is a nightmare transfer scenario for United.
They now face the prospect of Sancho coming back if his form doesn't improve, and a possibility that they might not be able to sell him come the summer - four years on since his £73m switch from Borussia Dortmund.
Rashford fee
Manchester United have increased their demands for Marcus Rashford, according to The Daily Star. It had been initially claimed that Aston Villa have a £40million buy option to sign the 27-year-old, who has spent the second half of the season at Villa Park, on a permanent deal in the summer.
However, The Daily Star now reports that United will look to strike a permanent transfer with Villa for Rashford in the region of £60m, suggesting that the £40m option is not true. It's added that there is 'no way back' for the England international at United and the club are looking to generate as much money as possible.

MEN says: It's no surprise that United's valuation of Rashford has increased since his move to Villa. While Rashford has not found the net for Unai Emery's side, he has contributed in other areas, none more so than his creative output and setting up chances for his teammates.
If Rashford can add goals to his game, he can become an unstoppable force once again and it wouldn't be a shock for his valuation to rise even more, as United look to engineer a major money sale.
