On March 19,2025, Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Fei Mingxing attended the handover ceremony of the agricultural equipment and materials. More than 50 people attended the ceremony, including the general director of the International Exchange Service Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China, and Chinese and Samoan agricultural experts.
Ambassador Fei commended the work of the Chinese agricultural technical experts, and looked forward to in-depth  agricultural cooperation between China and Samoa.Honourable  Niua'va Malolo Eti, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of Samoa, affirmed the important role of Chinese experts in ensuring Samoa's food security, balanced national nutrition and improving agricultural skills, and thanked China for its friendship and selfless help to Samoa.
Agricultural equipment and materials were handed over on site.
