Liverpool are facing the prospect of losing Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold this summer.
The star trio are all out of contract on 30 June and can leave Anfield on a free transfer once their deals expire.
Football Insider revealed on 23 March Salah and Van Dijk’s deals are being held up by the length of contract on offer.
Salah, 32, and Van Dijk, 33, remain key players in Arne Slot’s plans but are demanding longer contracts than the club are prepared to offer.
Former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider he is “amazed” Liverpool have let their star players’ contracts get to this stage without agreeing a new deal.
Former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider Alexander-Arnold, 22, has signed a contract with Real Madrid after being heavily linked with the Spanish giants over the past few months.

Liverpool star to agree new deal
Borson believes Liverpool will agree a new deal with at least one of their out-of-contract stars.
He told Football Insider: “It will all be in the mix, but I think ultimately it’s about the wages.
“I think it’s amazing that all three of them still haven’t announced deals. From what they say, in the background it’s not that close.
“Even just last weekend Van Dijk said that he doesn’t know what’s going to happen, which I think is incredible.
“I thought there was a lot of risk in relation to Alexander-Arnold going to Real Madrid. That feels like something that’s going to happen. It feels like a great deal for Real Madrid.
“The player probably fancies a new challenge while he’s still young enough, so I think that probably happens.
“The other two I’m really amazed about. I would have thought there was no chance that Liverpool would have allowed either of them to go this long without signing a contract.
“I suspect they will sign at least one of them, but I just don’t really understand why you would let it run on.”

Liverpool could agree cut-price Marc Guehi deal
Football Insider revealed on 21 March Liverpool could agree a cut-price deal for Marc Guehi as they look to add to their defensive options.
Crystal Palace fought off interest from Newcastle United last summer, with Eddie Howe’s side seeing up to four bids rejected for the centre-back.

It is believed Palace wanted around £75-80million for their captain at that time, but the 24-year-old will have just 12 months remaining on his contract at Selhurst Park in June.
Liverpool could now sign Guehi, who has scored three goals in 34 appearances this season, for around £50-60million this summer.
