Arsenal will reportedly be rivalled by Man Utd who also want to sign Nico Williams.

The Spain winger is a top target for the Gunners, and has a release clause in his contract that could be as little as £49million.

Arsenal have reportedly made an offer for Bruno Guimaraes.

Incoming Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is desperate to sign Matheus Cunha and Martin Zubimendi.

Cunha's release clause at Wolves is around £62million, while Zubimendi could be signed for around £51million.

Michael Owen is backing Liverpool to rival Arsenal for the signing of Alexander Isak.

Owen told talkSPORT: "If Isak was available I think Liverpool would do everything in their power to get somebody like that.

‘But so would Arsenal.

"Arsenal are absolutely desperate for a player like that. Who wouldn’t be desperate for a player like that."

Owen added: "From Newcastle’s point of view they simply cannot let him go.

"I hear what you’re saying about the balancing of the books and leaving them in credit with the financial rules but so what?

"You prefer Isak, he’s the one who is going to bounce you into that elite level. You need special players, look at Liverpool this year, they’ve got the best centre-half, one of the best attackers in Mo Salah.

"They’ve got the best goalkeeper, you have to have the very elite players to compete. He is one you’ve just got to build your team around, they’ve already got a really strong midfield and with Isak up front you’ve got half a chance."

Ajax are reportedly willing to sell forward Brian Brobbey for as little £21million.

Man Utd and Arsenal were linked with the Dutch goalscorer in the past.

According to SoccerNews, the Eredivisie giants' dwindling finances are an issue - with top talent ready to be sold.

Brobbey has 50 goals in 138 games for Ajax, including 22 in all competitions last term.

Arsenal women's star Caitlin Foord has spoken of her pride after reaching 50 goals for the club.

The forward scored her 50th in 157 games by poking home in the first half against Liverpool in a comprehensive 4-0 win.

Gabriel set to return from international duty

The Arsenal defender is expected to return to the UK after featuring for Brazil during the March international break.

Gabriel represented his country in their 2-1 win over Colombia in their World Cup qualifier on Thursday.

The centre-back played the full 90 minutes alongside PSG skipper Marquinhos.

Gabriel picked up a yellow card in the first half, meaning he is now ruled out of Brazi's next match against Argentina on Tuesday night.

This is because the defender has picked up a total of two bookings during Brazil's World Cup qualifying campaign and rules state he must serve a one-match ban.

Gabriel will return to Arsenal from international duty earlier than expected due to his suspension.

Cunha competition

Arsenal have been interested in Wolves' Matheus Cunha for a few windows now.

The Gunners could well go back in for the Brazilian in the summer, but they would face competition from many Premier League rivals.

Chelsea and Nottingham Forest are reportedly among the Prem sides interested in Cunha, who has scored 13 goals for struggling Wolves this season.
