Wow: “Insane” record-breaking striker would like to join Liverpool in sensational move

Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane would like to seal a move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to a sensational new claim.

The 31-year-old is one of the outstanding strikers of his generation, breaking England’s goalscoring record to highlight his legendary status.

Kane has produced outrageous numbers throughout his career, scoring 280 goals in 435 appearances for Tottenham, prior to his move to Bayern in 2023.

He has continued to find the net at a freakish rate for the German giants, with 76 strikes coming his way in only 82 matches, and he is on the verge of winning the Bundesliga title, which would arguably be his career highlight to date.

Despite things going well for Kane in Germany, a report from Spain suggests that the attacking superstar is eyeing a return to the Premier League this summer.

Not only that, but Liverpool are his “preferred destination”, at a time when the Reds are reportedly looking to sign a new centre forward at the end of the season.

Perfect signing for Liverpool or past his best?

Liverpool signing Kane would certainly be a massive statement of intent, with the England captain a born goalscorer who would likely excel at Anfield.

He isn’t only a world-class finisher, with his range of passing both elite and underrated, and Declan Rice has lauded his international teammate, saying:

“He’s insane. I’ve seen him train for so long and play so many games for England. The amount of times he’s bailed us out with a goal, or scored a hat-trick, or scored a brace. He’s scored 70 for England. He’s an unbelievable guy, a great captain and I’m sure he’s looking at the hundred-mark for England. I think he can get that, for sure.”

There are a few concerns about Liverpool moving for Kane, however, not least his age, with the former Spurs man turning 32 this summer.

He would also demand huge wages, amid the Reds trying to tie down Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah to new deals.

In truth, it is hard to see the transfer happening, but if Kane did suddenly end up at Liverpool this summer, he could be a potent weapon for a few more years.
