While efficient, the Kansas City Chiefs' rushing attack left a lot to be desired last season, ranking 26th for yards per game (101.2).
With Isiah Pacheco returning from injury and Kareem Hunt re-signing, coupled with the speedy addition of Elijah Mitchell, the Chiefs running back room looks rather solid for 2025.
Of course, Mitchell didn't play the entire 2024 season due to injury, and Pacheco didn't look like himself returning for the latter stages of last year, so maybe the front office wants to look toward the future at the position.
And for NFL.com's Chad Reuter, in his latest four-round mock draft, the Chiefs add Virginia Tech speedster Bhayshul Tuten to their ranks.
Having just two college seasons under his belt, Tuten has already shown he is NFL-ready, rushing for 2,022 yards and 25 touchdowns in his two years. Plus, he averaged a cool 6.3 yards per clip last season as well.
Boasting a 4.32 40-yard dash, Tuten can be the Chiefs' home-run threat on any given play while also able to be the bruising runner that Pacheco and Hunt are.

While he does have a smaller frame, per NFL.com's Lance Zierlein, Tuten possesses "easy hips," which allow him to make sudden cuts to juke our defenders and escape for big gains.
Given his home run speed and punishing running ability, it could be easy to conclude that Tuten is perhaps the best of every back the Chiefs currently have on their roster, all rolled into one.
The running back class is deep this season, and in Tuten, the Chiefs could get their back of the future with Pacheco on the final year of his rookie deal and Mitchell and Hunt on one-year deals.
And in the fourth round? That's a steal.
