The Buffalo Bills knew that getting Josh Allen more weapons was a key part of the offseason plans, and Joshua Palmer was signed on a three-year deal.
Adding a home-run element to the Bills' offense, Palmer links up with Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Curtis Samuel as Allen's receiving core, plus we add in Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox, and now Buffalo looks good as an offense. ...
Good enough, we think, to have the club take a stand here ansd pass on the flirtations coming from the Stefon Diggs camp.
But the franchise might not be done adding weapons for Allen, and given their cap space, a free agent signing likely isn't on the way, but what about in the draft?
In Chad Reuter's latest four-round mock draft, the Bills add some more help for Allen, selecting Miami Hurricane slot specialist Xavier Restrepo.
Having spent five college seasons with the Hurricanes, Restrepo had his best-ever year in 2024.
He totaled 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns en route to being named First-team Associated Press All-American as he led the Hurricanes in both categories.
So he would come to Buffalo looking to translate his college game to the NFL, and with Shakir as his slot mentor, Restrepo could develop into quite a useful weapon for Allen once he gets up to speed.

Not the biggest at 5-10 and 209, but Restrepo would be a superb foil for Shakir in the slot and give Allen another separator in the passing game.
Given Buffalo's other receiving options, Restrepo would likely be down on the depth chart, but he has the talent to eventually be a solid contributor to Joe Brady's offense.
