Pitman made an instant impact, coming off the bench to score a 16-minute hat-trick on his debut for the Magpies in their 6-0 home win over Marlow.

He links up with the side as they push for promotion from the seventh tier of English football and are currently sitting fifth in the table, the final spot in the play-offs.

The Jersey-born Pitman has now played for four clubs this term, after starting the campaign with Baffins Milton Rovers and Shaftesbury.

Pitman spent two season at Portman Road, where he netted 15 goals in 70 games for the Blues. He was Town's top scorer with 11 in the 2015/16 campaign.

Since he left Suffolk, he has had spells at Portsmouth, Swindon Town, Bristol Rovers and Eastleigh (loan), before dropping into non-league.
