Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola is the top target for Tottenham if they decide to sack Ange Postecoglou, according to their former scout.
Mick Brown, who also worked as the chief scout at Man United and Blackburn and remains very well-connected at his former clubs, exclusively told Football Insider that Spurs are considering a number of options to replace the under-pressure boss.
It is believed that failure to turn results around between now and the end of the season will see Postecoglou dismissed from his role.
Brown warned Football Insider on 12 March that Tottenham could sack Postecoglou as a result of growing pressure from the supporters in North London.
A run of just three wins in their last 12 Premier League games has led to calls for his head, with their Europa League form thought to be keeping him in the job.
Meanwhile, Iraola, 42, has enjoyed a fantastic season with Bournemouth, leading them to tenth place and just four points shy of the Champions League places as things stand.

Tottenham eye Andoni Iraola amid Postecoglou sack pressure
Brown told Football Insider last month that Bournemouth want Iraola to agree a new contract and are working hard to reach an agreement with the Spaniard.
Now, the former scout who has a wealth of experience working with elite managers including the likes of Ron Atkinson and Sir Alex Ferguson at Man United, insisted Iraola would be a good fit if Tottenham decide he is the man for the job.
“Ange Postecoglou is under a lot of pressure there,” he told Football Insider.
“Unless he can put a good run together between now and the end of the season, I think they’ll decide to pull the trigger.
“They’ve already started having a look at potential replacements.
“From what I hear, Iraola at Bournemouth is their first choice after what he’s done this season.
“They want somebody who has worked in the Premier League, and he’s doing a good job of that.
“He ticks a lot of boxes as far at Tottenham are concerned, he’s young, plays exciting football and gets performances out of his players.
“There are a few names on their list, but he’s the stand-out option at the moment.”

Angel Gomes talks held as Postecoglou plans transfer swoop
While Postecoglou remains under pressure, he is still in the job as things stand and has begun looking towards the summer transfer window.
Brown told Football Insider on 22 March that Tottenham have held talks with Angel Gomes’ agent as he closes in on a move away from Lille.
The 24-year-old England international is out of contract in June, and has attracted plenty of interest in a return to the Premier League.
Gomes has been available for pre-contract talks since January, but discussions over his future are expected to accelerate in the coming weeks.
