Manchester United-linked striker Jonathan David has said he is "not sure" if he will be staying at Lille this forthcoming summer.
The Canada international, 25, is out of contract at Lille at the end of this season and he is yet to commit his future to the Ligue 1 outfit, prompting plenty of speculation about his next move.

David joined Lille from Belgian club Gent in 2020 and has been a regular source of goals for the French club, scoring 107 times in 224 games across all competitions, including 23 goals this season.
Amid the prospect of him being available on a free transfer later this year, the striker is being linked with a plethora of clubs, including United, Liverpool, Newcastle and Barcelona.
Having established himself as one of the most consistent goalscorers in Europe over the last few years, David, if he chooses to leave Lille, will have the expectation of starting week in, week out for his new club.
However, speaking to Golazo America, he admitted that will be part of the challenge, saying: "Obviously, with this summer going on, I am not sure if I am staying or going. But if I do end up going, I have to push myself at the very highest level.
"When you play for a big club, your position [in the team] is never guaranteed and you need to fight. I am never guaranteed anywhere I go to start every game and play every game - I have to perform.
"I am willing to fight. I know it's an important year. It is a big decision. I will make a wise decision."
David, who scored and provided an assist for Canada in a 2-1 win over the United States on Sunday, has been a shining light for Lille this season, both domestically and in Europe. In addition to the 14 goals he has plundered in Ligue 1, he also scored seven times in their Champions League campaign, scoring against the likes of Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and both Madrid clubs.
