Thomas Tuchel may have already dealt blow to Everton after taking control of England

Much has been made of Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad having a lack of Everton players.

David Moyes will be someone who was left questioned at Jordan Pickford being the only Toffees player to make the squad.

There were some questionable decisions from the German who decided to include Dan Burn and Jarrel Quansah despite Everton’s solid defensive efforts.

One player who certainly could’ve been in the frame was James Tarkowski who Tuchel overlooked.

Well, now it’s become apparent Tuchel’s actions have proven costly and Everton are the ones to suffer.

Thomas Tuchel deals Jarrad Branthwaite blow to Everton

It’s becoming clear that not even Jarrad Branthwaite himself knows where his future will end up.

The 22-year-old’s stance with the Toffees has been up in the air for a while now as Everton set a £70m asking price for Branthwaite.

There was certainly fury from the Toffees centre-back when he wasn’t picked for Tuchel’s first England squad.

England fans wanted Branthwaite over Burn as it seems like Tuchel has made his first grave error with the national team.

Now it seems like a domino effect has started, as according to Sky Sports, Branthwaite is considering his future at Everton due to his absence from Tuchel’s plans.

This will no doubt raise alarm bells for the club as Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham are among those interested, with Manchester United also keen.

Everton have to keep Branthwaite away from Premier League

It seems as though all signs are pointing to an exit for the defender this summer, but The Friedkin Group must avoid a serious concern.

If he were to leave the club in the next transfer window, Everton must avoid selling Branthwaite to a fellow league club at all costs.

Not only could this prove to bite them, but with Liverpool in the running, this doesn’t bode well for Moyes’ side as every Evertonian would dread the thought of Branthwaite in red.

Real Madrid are keen on Branthwaite and that should be the direction the owners go.
