Wolves have three Brazilian players on international duty, with Joao Gomes joining Andre and Matheus Cunha.
No team has more representatives in the Brazil national team than Wolves, telling of the level of talent Vitor Pereira has at his disposal.
Gomes was the last to be called up out of the trio, with Cunha making his international return for the first time since joining Wolves in January 2023.
Andre has become a regular with the Selecao following his rise at Fluminense, earning 11 caps for his country so far.

Speaking to the media on international duty, Andre expressed his delight to see Cunha called up for Brazil’s World Cup qualifying clashes against Colombia and Argentina.
While it was heartwarming to see the summer signing speak so highly of his Wolves teammate, not all of Andre’s comments on international duty will sit well with those at Molineux.
Most recently, the midfielder sat down with TNT Sports Brazil, where he was quizzed about his relationship with Gomes.
“I’m rooting for him a lot. We have this rapport on the field, we also managed to play together. So I hope he grows more and more.”

What came next was Andre’s thoughts on Gomes’ future at Wolves, as the 23-year-old urged his compatriot to move away from Molineux.
“I don’t think he should stay there [Wolves] for long, because of the great player he is, I believe he will have bigger flights to take.”
Andre believes his teammate has greater opportunities out there to explore, which despite being a thought shared by many, could be seen as a blow to those at Wolves.
Unfortunately, Andre’s comments on Gomes having bigger fish to fry are something that won’t surprise fans.
It was only earlier this season that Gary O’Neil suggested that Cunha’s transfer is inevitable, with Gomes now joining the list of players backed to leave Molineux.
While it’s healthy for players to think of the bigger picture, there’s a project to tend to at Wolves, and one that Gomes and Andre are a considerable part of.
Fans would perhaps discourage members of the squad from talking about the club in such a way, with certain viewpoints considered disrespectful, particularly when it comes to transfers.
