Updates On Ayden Heaven And Harry Maguire: Manchester United Injury News And Expected Return Dates

Manchester United defender Ayden Heaven is a doubt for the next game against Nottingham Forest after the international break.

Heaven has broken out into the United squad recently and has impressed despite being just 18. He joined from Arsenal in the January transfer window.

However, for all that is going well for the defender, he picked up an ankle injury during United’s 3-0 win against Leicester City before the international break.

It is not yet clear as to how serious it is, with manager Ruben Amorim saying after the game: “He’s a young kid.

“He doesn’t know how to explain what he’s feeling, so it’s hard for us to know something. He’s a bit a little bit more calm now, but we have to assess during the week. It’s a shame if he has something for quite a long [time].”

Expected return date – Unknown

Harry Maguire

Defender Maguire is also dealing with a knock that he picked up during United’s FA Cup defeat to Fulham at the start of March.

It has meant that the centre-back missed out on a call-up to Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad, which will come as a huge disappointment for him.

It is unclear whether he will be ready for Manchester United’s next game against Forest, but there is certainly a chance that he could be.

Expected return date – Tuesday 1 April vs Nottingham Forest
