Man Utd can start spending spree with£105m fire sale of three players; Amorim doesn't fancy them

Manchester United must address their squad’s weaknesses in the summer to help manager Ruben Amorim’s ambition next season.

There are concerns that Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) limitations could impact their transfer activities.

However, the fire sales of forwards Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Jadon Sancho could help fund the club’s transfer ambitions.

United could generate approximately £105 million from their departures. Amorim does not fancy any of them, and they are unlikely to stay at the club beyond this summer.

Man United have set a £40m asking price on Rashford, who has impressed on loan at Aston Villa. His resurgence at Villa Park has earned him a recall to the England squad.

Villa are the frontrunners to secure his signature, as they have an option to buy him, but they may face competition from other suitors.

United are also seeking £40m for Antony. The Brazilian winger has looked rejuvenated since joining Real Betis on loan in January.

Real Betis could be interested in signing him permanently but would need to break their transfer record. Their record signing is Denilson, who joined from Sao Paulo for £25m in 1998.

Sancho’s departure would further boost United’s transfer budget, with the club setting a £25m price tag on the English forward.

He made an impressive start to his loan spell at Chelsea, providing an assist in each of his first three league games.

However, his form has declined, casting doubt on whether the Blues will exercise their option to buy him permanently for £25m.

Man United could still sell him for the same price to another club if Chelsea refuse to complete his signing permanently.

The Red Devils must avoid breaching PSR and will hope to recoup as much as possible from the sale of these forwards to aid their transfer plans.
