The Esk proven right about Williamson
Paul Quinn had speculated the possibility of the executive joining the Friedkins at Everton as early as November when the takeover was still in the process of completion.
At the time, The Esk described Williamson as “the Friedkins’ fixer”, meaning he is their go-to guy to solve any sort of issue that arises within their businesses.
While he is a board member at Roma, it appears he has been handed a more senior role at Goodison Park, with his position defined as a director.
It now remains to be seen what sort of an impact he will have at Everton as the Friedkins continue transforming the club behind the scenes.
