West Ham ace Crysencio Summerville has been absent through injury since Graham Potter’s first game in charge of the Hammers.
Since joining from Leeds last summer, the Netherlands international has scored one goal and created two assists in 22 appearances.
Summerville impressed in Potter’s first game in charge of the Hammers as he made an assist as his side lost 2-1 to Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
But the hamstring injury the former Leeds man sustained that night in January has kept him sidelined ever since.

Summerville may not appear for West Ham again until next season
ExWHUEmployee has revealed from a “top source” that Summerville is not expected to be available again until next season.

However, the report did also issue the “disclaimer” that ExWHUEmployee’s source can be “quite pessimistic” when it comes to handing out timescales for injuries.
But the Hammers faithful will be fearful that they will not see Summerville in action again until next term after he refused to have an operation.

Summerville has not been a successful signing for West Ham so far
Last season, Summerville was arguably the best player in the Championship when he notched a remarkable return of 20 goals and nine assists in 46 second-tier outings for Leeds.
West Ham will have been hopeful that the Dutchman could have a similar impact in the Premier League this term, especially given the fact that he already has top-flight experience under his belt courtesy of his time in West Yorkshire.

Summerville hasn’t had a major impact for the Hammers
But Summerville managed just two goal contributions in 21 appearances under ex-Hammers boss Julen Lopetegui.
The winger would have hoped for a new lease of life under new manager Potter, which seemed possible when he notched an assist in his first outing under the Englishman’s stewardship.
However, courtesy of his major injury blow, West Ham have not been able to witness whether Potter would have been able to get the best out of Summerville this term.
The ex-Leeds star could come good next campaign, but it is fair to say that his first season at the London Stadium has been underlined by frustration.
