LeBron James and Luka Doncic might be the biggest names in the lineup, but the Los Angeles Lakers are playing well because they have multiple great stars.
One of them is Austin Reaves, who is enjoying the best season of his career.
Because of how well he is doing, many people wonder what the future holds for Reaves.
Will he stick around in Los Angeles or move to a new destination, one that can make him the top player?
Speaking on “Gil’s Arena,” Gilbert Arenas stated that Reaves will be offered that chance.

Reaves is putting up 19.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists this season, which are all career-highs.
He is playing better than he ever has and has carried the team multiple times, especially when James or Doncic have been out.
However, some fans wonder how well he would do if he were leading a different team.
Is he only able to thrive because the opposing defense is always so focused on his two iconic teammates?
As mentioned, Reaves has done well even when James and Doncic aren’t on the floor, so it seems he has found an identity and strength that exists no matter who he is playing with.
He is definitely desired by many other teams, but Reaves might want to remain in Los Angeles.
He is contracted to the team for a few more seasons and seems very happy with the Lakers.
Plus, James’ retirement is approaching and Reaves could be a vital part of the Lakers’ future without him.
