Since David Moyes returned to Everton for a second spell, they’ve been on a terrific run of form.
When David Moyes took over from Sean Dyche, Everton were staring down the barrel of a relegation battle as they continued to plummet down the table.
However, now the Toffees are 17 points clear of the bottom three and have an outside chance of qualifying for Europe, with 11th place a potential spot for the UEFA Conference League.
Everton are on a run of nine games without defeat in the Premier League, which is Moyes’ longest unbeaten run since 2012.
Beto has been influential in the change of form as he’s found his goalscoring form whilst Jake O’Brien has been another notable key fixture in the side.
However, when asked which player he first thinks of when Everton is mentioned, Harvey Barnes named a first-teamer who’s not played since December, interestingly.

Harvey Barnes thinks of Dwight McNeil when someone mentions Everton
Iliman Ndiaye, Jarrad Branthwaite and Jordan Pickford are perhaps the most notable Everton players and are considered among some of the best in the Premier League.

So, naturally, when asked to name the first Everton player you think of, many would say one of the aforementioned trio.
However, asked that same question, Newcastle United wide player Harvey Barnes said Dwight McNeil.
McNeil hasn’t featured for Everton since the start of December as he’s been sidelined with a knee injury which required surgery.
When is McNeil back from injury?
McNeil, who’s not yet played under Moyes, is now back in light training after making great progress from knee surgery earlier this year.
The former Burnley winger isn’t in full training just yet and Moyes isn’t expecting him to be back in action immediately after the international break.
“I don’t think we’re necessarily going to have any of them back after the [international] break but we’ve got three boys there – Dwight, Ili and Dom – who we could all do with seeing back if we could,” the Everton boss said.
McNeil absence has been evident in recent weeks as the goals are starting to dry up, so hopefully he’ll be fit and available at some point in April.
