It has been a rocky season for Wolves, and the spotlight will be on Molineux officials this summer to respond.
There will be a number of players leaving the club this summer.
Several are out of contract, and some will be the subject of interest from other clubs and ultimately sold.
There are positions that need strengthening this summer and arguably, Wolves are in real need of a new goalkeeper.
Jose Sa is the number one at Molineux after fending off competition from Sam Johnstone.
But arguably, it’s a position that Wolves need to look at in the summer – and Caoimhin Kelleher of Liverpool is someone the club ought to consider.

It was reported last week by The Sun that Caoimhin Kelleher is the subject of interest from several clubs heading into the summer.
He’s made 18 appearances this season as the Reds’ number two, keeping eight clean sheets.

He’ll only have a year left on his contract this summer and at present, there’s interest from Bournemouth, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
Liverpool are thought to value Kelleher around £30 million. But if the player agitates to leave, that price could come down a bit.
And it’s possible he could do that, as The Times reported in February that he was keen to depart this summer.
Kelleher – who Wolves showed interest in last summer – is unfortunate at Liverpool because he has one of the world’s best ahead of him in Alisson.
But he is a very good ‘keeper, and in November BBC Sport reported that since Kelleher’s Premier League debut in December 2020, he had the sixth-best save percentage (73%) and seventh-most successful passes (28) per 90 minutes.
Jurgen Klopp hailed him as ‘outstanding’ (via RTE), and realistically the would start for a lot of other clubs.
Wolves can do better than Jose Sa and Sam Johnstone
There has been calm around the goalkeeper position at Wolves for the past couple of months, with Jose Sa having established himself under Pereira.
But this is a position Wolves should be looking at this summer.
Johnstone has not impressed since his £10 million switch from Crystal Palace, and Wolves fans knw full well that Sa isn’t the best on the ball and can make rash decisions.
It might be in Wolves’ best interests to move both on in the summer, and Kelleher would certainly be a great number one, with Dan Bentley to serve as the number two.

The Johnstone signing never made a great deal of sense. If Wolves were try to sell Sa to the Saudi Pro League, the club should have waited until something actually materialised before getting Johnstone.
It must have been confusing and frustrating for Johnstone to have moved and then not become the number one. Journalist Nathan Judah described Wolves’ goalkeeper situation as ‘an absolute mess’ earlier this season.
But if Kelleher is going to be on the market this summer then Wolves surely have to get involved, especially since there has been interest from Wanderers previously.
