The Villa star, who has broken into the England senior squad this season due to his sparkling form - was rewarded with another call-up for the back to back World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia.
He came off the bench in the victory over Albania at Wembley on Friday evening - and was awarded a first start for his country by new boss Thomas Tuchel.
On Monday, he was named in the side alongside fellow Villa team-mates Ezri Konsa and Marcus Rashford - with the selection breaking a 16 year long statistic.
It was the first time that three Villa players have been named in the starting line-up for an England game together since February 2009.
On that occasion, Gabby Agbonlahor, Emile Heskey and Gareth Barry were all named in the side that took on Spain in a Friendly.
