The Phoenix Suns have experienced a season full of ups and downs, but they may be peaking at the perfect time with just 11 games remaining in the regular season as they prepare to host the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.
The Suns have now won three straight games, defeating the Raptors, Bulls, and Cavaliers, with much of the credit going to superstar Kevin Durant. Durant was named the NBA's Western Conference Player of the Week, alongside Coby White of the Chicago Bulls, who earned Eastern Conference honors.
Over the past week, Durant averaged an impressive 27.3 points, 6.3 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game, helping the Suns to a 3-0 record. Phoenix is now 34-37 overall and currently holding onto the final play-in spot in the Western Conference as the No. 10 seed.
For the season, Durant is averaging 26.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, while shooting 52.8% from the field and 41.7% from beyond the arc.

At this point in the year, it is highly unlikely that the Suns will have what it takes to get themselves out of a play-in spot before the end of the season as they trail the No. 6 seed Golden State Warriors by seven games.
However, they are in a tight race with the Dallas Mavericks for the final play-in spot, which would give them the opportunity to climb into the top eight and when you players like Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, the Suns wouldn't be an easy out in a seven game series in the first round.
Yet, Dallas could be welcoming Anthony Davis as soon as Monday night and with his return, it could make the final two to three weeks of the season extremely interesting as the race for playoff seeding heats up.
