Ruben Amorim’s Man Utd ace emerges on Juventus’ transfer radar and tipped as replacement for attacking talent

Juventus are reportedly keeping close tabs on one key first-team Manchester United player under Ruben Amorim if the highly rated Kenan Yildiz leaves the Old Lady.

Kenan Yildiz has been linked with Manchester United in recent months and the 19-year-old German-born attacker has made a name for himself at Juventus.

The Juventus forward was part of the youth academy set-up at Bayern Munich before he left the German club and signed as a free agent for the Italian side.

Since arriving at the Turin-based outfit in 2022, Yildiz has risen through the ranks of Juventus’ youth academy and broke into the Serie A club’s first team.

The Turkey international has made 73 appearances for Juventus and Yildiz has netted 10 times and registered five assists for the Old Lady’s senior team.

Yildiz is under contract with Juventus until 2029, but his future remains uncertain at the Italian club and Old Trafford has been tipped as one potential destination.

However, TuttoMercatoWeb has now reported that Juventus are ‘starting to think about possible alternatives’ should Yildiz make his exit from the Allianz Stadium.

According to the publication, Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has been identified as a potential replacement for Yildiz at the Italian club.

Alejandro Garnacho has been a United fan favourite since his emergence at Old Trafford and he has been a key first-team player under manager Ruben Amorim.

The 20-year-old Spain-born attacker’s future at Old Trafford has been uncertain and Garnacho was linked with Serie A side Napoli in recent months.

TuttoMercatoWeb has claimed that Garnacho is admired for his ‘speed’ and his ‘unpredictability’ and he still has room for development in his career.

The outlet added that Juventus believe they could ‘convince’ United to let the Argentina international leave for only a figure of ‘around 40 million.’

Juventus target Alejandro Garnacho is settling in well under Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim

United had previously hinted that they would be willing to sell Alejandro Garnacho, who was also linked with Chelsea, if the right offer came in for the winger.

However, the United and Argentina star remained at Old Trafford after the January window closed and remains an important part of Amorim’s project at the club.

Garnacho, who is under contract with the Red Devils until 2028, has netted nine times and registered eight assists in 45 matches in the 2024-25 season.

The United star was not called up for international duty with 2022 World Cup champions Argentina during the March international break.
