Man Utd fans have voiced their support for head coach Ruben Amorim with a catchy new chant.
Manchester United fans have come up with a new chant for head coach Ruben Amorim to show their support for the work he has done since he joined the club in November 2024.
Even though United are on course to record their lowest-ever Premier League finish and could finish the season trophyless, without European football, there has been plenty of support for the new man in charge. Amorim inherited an underperforming squad that has struggled to adapt to his new tactical demands and has had his hands tied by the club's tight financial situation too.
Most United fans accept he is not the biggest problem at the club and have shown their support for the head coach with a catchy new tune. Ever since a video of some fans singing the song in Bucharest at the start of February did the rounds on social media, it has only grown in volume over the following weeks. Here are the words so you can sing along next time.

What are the lyrics to Ruben Amorim's Manchester United chant?
You can be excused if you are not too familiar with Bonnie Tyler’s hit ‘It’s a Heartache’, which was released in 1977 and peaked at number four in the UK singles chart. There are no excuses if you leave a United match without it stuck in your head though.
The song has been adapted into the new catchy chant for head coach Ruben Amorim and has been heard at grounds across Europe since it was first aired earlier in the year. It reached new heights when it was sung throughout United's 3-0 victory over Leicester in March 2025 and it will become the new soundtrack to his first few seasons at the club.
If you want to singalong next time United are in action, here are the all-important lyrics to the new catchy United chant:
"Ruben Amorim,
"He’ll bring the glory days again!
"We’ll back him from the Stretford End,
"He’ll turn the Reds around."
What Ruben Amorim said about his chant
Ruben Amorim was serenaded by Manchester United supporters during the 3-0 victory over Leicester on 16 March and was taken aback by their new chant for him.
Speaking after the match, he was asked about the song but admitted the only way he would be able to pay them back would be by producing positive results on the pitch.
"Again, it’s strange, it gives me a lot of responsibility but I don’t get carried away with that," he said. "I know we are so far away from what they expect and deserve, I know that, I’m not going to feel a lot better, I just want to win, improve our performance and show something for our fans."
