Former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made a strong start to life in charge of Turkish side Besiktas.
Manchester United are looking to progress under Ruben Amorim after so many managers before him failed to bring sustained success to the club.
Erik ten Hag remains out of work after leaving United whilst Jose Mourinho is now Fenerbahce boss.
Mourinho has been joined in Turkiye by another former United boss after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer joined Besiktas in January.
Solskjaer has enjoyed a fine start to life at Besiktas, claiming seven wins, one draw and three defeats in 11 games.
The Norwegian may hope to sneak Besiktas into the Europa League spot for next season and then embark on an important summer window.

Besiktas want former Manchester United loanee Sergio Reguilon
Besiktas tend to be pretty busy in the transfer market but a disappointing window last summer means big signings are needed.
A new rumour has emerged around Besiktas – and it involves Solskjaer potentially signing a former United loanee.

Estadio Deportivo in Spain report that Besiktas want to sign former United left back Sergio Reguilon this summer.
It’s stated that Reguilon will be leaving Tottenham Hotspur as his contract comes to an end this summer.
The report claims that Besiktas are showing the strongest interest in Reguilon and actually wanted to sign him in January as Solskjaer arrived.
Besiktas plan to try again this summer, meaning Reguilon could finally team up with Solskjaer after all.
Solskjaer could have signed Reguilon for United in 2020
Reguilon joined United on loan in 2023 as Erik ten Hag signed the Spaniard as additional left back cover.
The former Real Madrid talent only played nine Premier League games for United before his loan was terminated in January 2024.
Reguilon moved on to Brentford as his United career ended, but it could have actually started many years ago.
United wanted to sign Reguilon in 2020, when Solskjaer was still in charge at Old Trafford.
Reguilon ended up at Tottenham instead, but these reports suggest that Solskjaer hasn’t forgotten about the left back’s talent.
Reguilon’s move to United didn’t really work out but as he looks to get back to his best away from Spurs, joining forces with Solskjaer could be in his future.
