Leeds United's protracted saga to appoint Daniel Farke shows Rangers what's to come once the San Francisco 49ers' takeover is complete – but that's no bad thing according to one pundit.

But high on their in-tray will be a decision over who is in the dugout.
Barry Ferguson has the reins in the meantime and has made his case for the job with huge results against Fenerbahce and Celtic, but it remains to be seen if he's done enough to convince Andrew Cavenagh and the money men behind the takeover to put their faith in him.
Other contenders like former Southampton boss and Ibrox defender Russell Martin are very much in the thinking and fans will be expecting a swift announcement to give the next boss a full pre-season at the helm.
But according to ex Leeds and England keeper Paul Robinson, they might need to be patient.
That's because it took the ownership group a full two months to decide on Daniel Farke – who now looks an inspired appointment with Leeds barrelling back towards the Premier League.
Robinson told the Inside Track podcast: “With the takeover there, we know things are done right. You look at the money that has gone into Leeds United with the 49ers. Then you look at how long it took them to recruit Daniel Farke.
“It took nearly two months, maybe even more than two months to appoint Farke. They wanted to get the right man who fitted their system, their mould, their way of playing and the style of football they wanted. So I don’t think it’s a decision the Rangers board will necessarily rush into.”
In the meantime, Ferguson will be hoping to continue the mini-revival he's started when Rangers head to Tayside to take on Dundee this Saturday.
