Exclusive rights free agent and tight end Travis Vokolek signed his one-year tender with the Arizona Cardinals on Monday.
The deal is worth the league minimum.
With Arizona extending the exclusive rights offer, Vokolek was barred from negotiating with any other teams.
Vokolek is coming off his second season with Arizona. He played one game for Arizona last year after appearing in two the season prior.
Despite the limited showing in 2024, Vokolek cracked Arizona’s initial 53-man roster as the fourth tight end behind Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins and Tip Reiman.
The tight end has been used primarily as a blocker offensively and has yet to record a reception at the NFL level.

With Vokolek back in the mix, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Arizona stick with the same four tight ends to start the season.
McBride is expected to be the game changer he was in 2024. Higgins gives Arizona another athletic option, while Reiman is expected to be Arizona’s primary blocking tight end.
Arizona also has International Player Pathway Program tight end Bernhard Seikovits as a potential option.
“Fired up to be back in the Valley!” Vokolek said in a social media post.
Travis Vokolek’s NFL resume
Vokolek entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023.
He was waived months later and re-signed to the team’s practice squad in August.
In need of tight end depth with Geoff Swaim injured, Arizona swooped Vokolek off Baltimore’s practice squad in December 2023.
