Liverpool have been offered a chance to sign one striker who is currently plying his trade in Germany.

The summer transfer window is expected to be a busy one, wth the Reds keen on strengthening key areas of the squad.

The No. 9 position is one Liverpool will likely require strong additions, given that the club will likely sell one or all of Diogo Jota and Dawrin Nunez. Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak is in their sight as a possible signing in the next transfer window.

However, the Swedish striker is likely to cost more than €100 million to land at Anfield in the summer. Liverpool is currently reported to be willing to pay such a figure.

But given the club’s cautious and pragmatic approach in previous times, it appears unrealistic they will spend excess of 100 million for just one player.

Thankfully for Richerd Hughes and Co., there is a possible alternative that will cost way less than Isak if Liverpool want to make a move.

The player in question is Schalke 04 striker Moussa Sylla.

According to a report from Football Transfers, the player’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, is offering him to top clubs in Europe, including Liverpool.

According to the report, the striker, who has scored 13 goals for the Bundesliga 2 side, is too good to be playing in the division and is keen on the move.

“The Royal Blues need to raise funds, and the striker has shown himself to be much too good to languish in second-tier no man’s land,” the report stated.

“Sylla is actively gunning for a major transfer this summer. Curiously, the 25-year-old is represented by superagent Rafaela Pimenta and she is using her extensive connections to try and engineer an ambitious move.

“We are told that Pimenta is offering her client to a host of clubs around Europe to gauge their interest in potentially signing him. The agent is leaving no stone unturned and has even approached the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.”
