Barcelona have reportedly decided to offer Ferran Torres a contract extension until 2029.
The Catalans have been working hard on renewals recently and it seems Ferran is now next on the list.
According to Diario Sport, manager Hansi Flick is “delighted” with Ferran’s performances this season and is happy for him to stay on.
The Spain star is into double figures for the season, despite enjoying mainly a bench role, but has proven to be really effective as a substitute.
Barca are also really happy with Ferran’s attitude off the pitch. He’s described as being a great professional with a stellar attitude.
Ferran’s current deal runs until 2027 but a two-year extension is in the works. He’ll be offered the same salary but the chance to earn extra bonuses as motivation.
Torres has regularly been linked with a move away from Barcelona during his time at the club but has always made it clear he is not interested in leaving and only wants to succeed with the Catalans.
