Nothing flies under the radar for USC Trojans star JuJu Watkins or Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. The two shared a lighthearted moment during the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, prompting plenty of speculation about their relationship status.
Despite both Watkins and Daniels being all smiles as cameras rolled, there is no indication that the two stars are dating. Watkins has also been linked to Arkansas Razorbacks guard D.J. Wagner as the two went to prom together, per Yahoo Sports.
Aside from sharing the special event together, there is no public indication that the two athletes are anything other than friends. As for Daniels, some fans are giving the Commanders quarterback a hard time on social media as his mother Regina Jackson was later spotted sitting between Watkins and Daniels.
It was a particularly humorous move given Jackson's previous comments about Daniels' dating life.

"Girls [concerns her the most]," Jackson remarked during an episode of Amazon Prime's "The Money Game: LSU." "Them girls. Some girl out here, she's got a Jayden Daniels wall, and her mama said, 'Hey honey, you're gonna be the one who is gonna go get him.'

"And I know that sounds crazy, but I guarantee there is someone out there who is trying to get their hooks into Jayden Daniels. So, thank God he got a mama like me-because it ain't happening."
Kentucky's DJ Wagner Jr. and USC's Juju Watkins signed NIL deals with Nike a year ago. Now they're starring in a commercial for the brand.

As for Daniels, like Watkins, the Commanders quarterback is not known to be publicly dating anyone at the moment.
