The Denver Nuggets are at home on Monday facing off against the Chicago Bulls as they look to win back-to-back games.
Denver currently is tied with Chicago 65-65 at halftime despite their excellent start to the game.
Of course, Denver is without their superstar center Nikola Jokic in Monday's game and Aaron Gordon is also sidelined due to injury.
With those two players out, Michael Porter Jr. has stepped up as he has recorded 12 points and four rebounds in the first half while Jamal Murray has added 11 points, two rebounds and two assists of his own.
Coby White has led the way for Chicago as he has scored 24 points on 8-10 shooting from the field in the first half.
The main story from the first half though is Denver's veteran guard Russell Westbrook as he has led the way for the Nuggets with 12 points and five assists off the bench.
Westbrook also made NBA history towards the end of the first quarter as he drilled a three-point shot from the logo with the shot clock expiring to pass Kevin Garnett for 20th on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

This is a massive accomplishment for Westbrook who now has 26,081 career points and counting as he now tries to close in on John Havlicek's 26,395 career points for 19th all-time.
Of course, Westbrook has had an incredible season thus far for the Nuggets as he has played a key role both off the bench and in the starting lineup.
This season, the 36-year-old point guard is averaging 13.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 45.7% from the field and 34.1% from three-point range.
While Westbrook is no longer the MVP caliber player that he once was, he has still played a key role for the Nuggets this season after struggling over the past few seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers.
With this accomplishment, Westbrook now adds another milestone to his impressive career resume.
