Well, that wasn't very fun. After a promising 11-4 start to the season, Green Bay never won their 12th, dropping their last two regular-season games and their playoff opener in Philadelphia.
For the first time in what seems like forever, the Packers don't have extra draft capital from trading away a franchise centerpiece (Rodgers/Adams). It's just a regular old draft in the late/middle part of each round. There is of course one massive difference: the Packers are hosting April's draft in Titletown.

Josh Liskiewitz - Emeka Egbuka, WR Ohio State - Don't let the fact that he's played with MHJ and Jeremiah Smith fool you. He's pro ready and ready to be good. Justin Jefferson wasn't the best player on his college team, neither was Brian Thomas, Jr.

Pete Prisco - Mykel Williams, EDGE Georgia - this would be awesome. He's a top-10 to top-12 player in this class and frankly a more talented player than a team picking at 23 should have a shot at.

Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz - Derrick Harmon, IDL Oregon - Harmon is quickly becoming the first round choice that seems the most likely. He's the best player at a place that makes the most sense that continues to fall to Green Bay in mocks.

Ben Standig - more Harmon

33rd Team 7 round Packers Mock
Justin Melo - Shavon Revel, CB ECU, Jayden Higgins, WR Iowa State, Josiah Stewart, EDGE Michigan, Jalen Travis, OT Iowa State - I think the positions here make a lot of sense, but not some of the players. I think Green Bay is potentially very in on Revel, there's nothing wrong with that pick. Same with Higgins. I'll be blown away if they take Stewart in the top 100. He is a prospect at that position with almost no length and that is not something that they're about. I guess the Packers could maybe look at Jalen Travis in that spot, but only because it's outside the top 100 area and they might start to break their tendencies, and even then it's a stretch. They don't draft 6'7", 340-pound tackles. They just don't.

I like this a ton. Grant makes too much sense for them and so does Higgins. Milum is one of the more underrated players in this draft and Kobe King brings a lot of what they don't have into the linebacker room. Zy and Jaylin Smith wuodl be interesting additions to the cornerback room, though Smith is on the smaller side for a corner they'd actually draft.
