Thunder Make Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams Announcement Ahead of Kings Game

The Oklahoma City Thunder will be on the road on Tuesday night as they travel to the Golden 1 Center to take on the Sacramento Kings.

Oklahoma City enters Tuesday's contest amid a six-game winning streak and they have also won nine of their last 10 contests.

They will look to keep things rolling on Tuesday against a Kings team coming off the first night of a back-to-back against the Boston Celtics.

Despite the Thunder having the clear rest advantage for Tuesday's game, they may be without two of their young stars once again.

Oklahoma City has listed both Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams as questionable for Tuesday's road matchup.

Holmgren was a late scratch ahead of Sunday's victory over the Los Angeles Clippers due to a left hip strain and he is in danger of missing his second consecutive game on Tuesday.

For Williams, he has been sidelined for Oklahoma City's last six games due to a hip injury and he is in serious danger of missing his seventh straight contest on Tuesday.

If Williams and Holmgren are sidelined against the Kings, expect Alex Caruso and Cason Wallace to remain in the starting lineup and Isaiah Hartenstein will be likely see the bulk of the center minutes with Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams seeing increased roles off the bench.

For the Kings, they may also be without a few of their key players as they have listed Malik Monk and Devin Carter as questionable as both players are dealing with an illness.

Both Monk and Carter missed Monday's game against the Celtics due to an illness and the Kings may elect to hold them out of the second game of the back-to-back as well.

Sacramento may also be without Domantas Sabonis in Tuesday's matchup after he surprisingly made his return to the lineup on Tuesday after missing a week due to an ankle injury.

Because Tuesday's game comes as the second night of a back-to-back, it is likely that the Kings will be cautious with Sabonis and rest him.

Fans can catch Tuesday's game between the Thunder and Kings at 10:00 p.m. EST on TNT.
