NBA G League Posts Strong Bronny James Message

Bronny James didn't get to join the Los Angeles Lakers for their four-game road trip, so instead the rookie set a major personal milestone in the G League.

The Lakers traveled to Orlando on Monday to take on the Magic, the start of a critical stretch as the team sits at No. 4 in the Western Conference. Though the Lakers dropped their third straight game, James continued his strong play with the G League South Bay Lakers while setting a personal record.

The NBA G League's official account announced that Bronny reached his career high of 32 points early in the fourth quarter.

"Bronny James is ON-FIRE!" the G League shared. "The @Lakers draftee has a career-high 32 points and counting for the @SouthBayLakers on @TheRokuChannel."

The eldest son of Lakers star LeBron James has shined in the G League this season, averaging 20.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game.

Bronny James continued to add to his career high after the G League announcement, finishing the game with 39 points on 14-for-21 shooting as the Lakers defeated the Santa Cruz Warriors. James added seven rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block.
