Fans Are Saying The Same Thing About Bronny James After Career Game

Two days removed from a two-point outing against the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James found himself back in the G League.

On Monday night, Bronny and the South Bay Lakers defeated the Santa Cruz Warriors 122-118 at the UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo, California.

And Bronny had one of his best nights as a pro.

The former USC Trojans star finished the win over Santa Cruz with a career-high 39 points (both NBA and G League) on 14-of-21 shooting and 4-of-8 from 3-point range, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals.

This marked Bronny's third 30+ point G League performance of his young career, with the previous one coming on Jan. 25 against the Rip City Remix (31 points).

Many NBA fans believed that Bronny did not belong in the NBA and was the product of nepotism, with his father, LeBron James, being the face of the league. Now, after seeing his stellar G League performance, some are starting to change their mind. They took to social media to leave their thoughts.

"bronny belongs in the NBA," one fan said.

"Bronny got to the league through his dad but he is definitely an nba player," added another.

"BRONNY IS BETTER THAN 90% OF HIS DRAFT CLASS," wrote a third.

"bronny has a future in the nba that shouldn't be a hot take. what the future holds for him idk but he's not just a nepo baby. he's a player," commented a fourth.

"They said bronny not a NBA player… alot of people lookin real dumb," posted a fifth.

"Can people stop pretending that Bronny doesn't deserve to be in the NBA just because they hate his dad?" asked a sixth.

Although Bronny and South Bay got the win on Monday night, LeBron and Los Angeles weren't as lucky, falling to the Orlando Magic 118-106, marking their third-straight loss.

Up next for LA is Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
