Visa applicants outside US already have to share social media accounts

The policy proposes vetting social media accounts of those already living legally in America and applying for permanent residency or asylum, by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
The move is a part of Trump's broader immigration enforcement strategy, which has seen increased scrutiny of green card and visa holders since his return to power.
