Everton will now welcome back Jordan Pickford from international duty following England’s game on Monday night.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper was involved in both of Thomas Tuchel’s starting XI’s for England’s World Cup Qualifiers.
Pickford has played a huge role in keeping the Toffees afloat over recent years, with some exceptional performances to his name.
The national media were not convinced by Pickford’s performance against Latvia on Monday night, however.
Everton fans will just be delighted to see their number one returning back to Finch Farm without injury ready for the Premier League run-in.
But it seems not everyone was left disappointed by Pickford as Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice shared a message after the game.

Declan Rice’s England message to Everton’s Jordan Pickford
Over the international break, Pickford has closed in on the England clean sheet record after not conceding in either of the two games.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper was kept fairly quiet with games against Albania and Latvia at Wembley Stadium.

And after the game, Pickford posted on his Instagram account as he ended his time on international duty.
‘Another great night at Wembley. Clean sheet, +3 and a strong team performance we can build from,’ he said on social media.
To which Arsenal midfielder Rice, replied in the comments with a ‘smiling face with love eyes emoji’, approving of the goalkeeper’s performances.
He was not the only player to respond as Jordan Pickford replied with the flexed muscle emoji.
Tuchel was warned against dropping Pickford before the international break, and the two clean sheets will not have harmed his England chances.
But it is now time for Pickford to turn his attention back to the Toffees, with Everton back in action next week.
Jordan Pickford returning to Everton after quiet international break
Pickford shone in Everton’s last game against West Ham, in an outing where he was kept on his toes throughout the game.
This was certainly not the case in this international break, with England dominating their two games over the last few days.
But it does mean Pickford is returning back to Finch Farm without any injury issues after a straightforward evening against Latvia.
