Devin Booker Sends 4-Word Message After Kevin Durant’s Clutch 3-Pointer During Suns-Bucks

Kevin Durant remains one of the top players in the NBA, while continuing to climb all-time leaderboards in the league's storied history books. Durant, in his seventeenth season, ranks No. 6 in points per game (26.8), and is one of the biggest reasons the Phoenix Suns have won four consecutive games.

The Suns took down the Milwaukee Bucks 108-106 in a thrilling victory on Monday night. While Devin Booker hit the ultimate dagger to ice the game, the Suns would most likely have walked away with a loss against the Bucks if it weren't for Durant's strong play.

Durant finished Monday night's win with 38 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three blocks. Durant would also add seven made 3-pointers, none bigger than the three that put the Suns up 106-105 with 25.6 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.

The Suns had squandered a six-point, fourth-quarter-lead, coming up empty on their previous three possessions. In that moment, the Suns turned to their leading scorer, and Durant delivered. After the game, Booker was asked why that play was drawn up for Durant, as his teammates were collectively calling for Durant to get the ball.

Bookers four-word response says it all.

"Just a reliable source."

"Just a reliable source," Booker said.

Durant can be seen lowering his head, joining the reporters in laughter. While Booker's response was seen as humorous, he makes a valid point. Durant has hit many clutch shots throughout his career, and at 36-years-old, continues to put up elite offensive numbers.

Durant was recently named the Western Conference Player of the Week, averaging 27.3 points, 6.3 assists, and 4.3 rebounds, while leading the Suns to a 3-0 record in Week 22 of the NBA season.

Durant also passed John Havlicek, moving into the No. 12 spot all-time for field goals made in NBA history (10,519).

Durant and the Suns will seek their fifth straight win in their next game when they take on the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night at 10 p.m. EDT on ESPN.
