Everton star Jordan Pickford made his 75th England appearance on Monday as the Three Lions beat Latvia 3-0 at Wembley.
The Toffees man has had a largely strong start to life under new boss Thomas Tuchel and has picked up two clean sheets under the German’s stewardship.
Pickford has also enjoyed another strong season between the sticks at Goodison Park with nine clean sheets in 29 Premier League appearances so far.
The 31-year-old even notched an assist when Everton hammered Leicester 4-0 on 1 February, thanks to Abdoulaye Doucoure’s goal, a brace from Beto and a further strike by Iliman Ndiaye.

England’s Pickford dubbed ‘lucky’ after error v Latvia
One of the more poignant moments in England’s win over Latvia came when Pickford and Marc Guehi got in each other’s way, handing Vladislavs Gutkovskis a key opportunity to open the scoring for the visitors, which he failed to do.

When handing out his Three Lions player ratings, Adrian Durham said via TalkSPORT [25 March]: “Jordan Pickford, at fault for the mix-up with Marc Guehi in the first-half, and it presented Latvia with an open goal that they should have taken, but they didn’t take.
“He’s lucky he’s got a clean sheet tonight, Jordan Pickford, he’s lucky that England didn’t go 1-0 down, didn’t have a huge amount to do, but what he did, he did quite badly.
“So Jordan Pickford gets a 4/10.”
Pickford and Everton are set to face a tough April
Despite maintaining two consecutive clean sheets in England colours and marking a landmark Three Lions appearance, Pickford has come under plenty of scrutiny for the error he made against Latvia.

But the Toffees goalkeeper will find himself with plenty to do once David Moyes’ men are back in action on 2 April as they take on Merseyside Derby rivals Liverpool at Anfield.
The Reds will be looking to strengthen their grip on the Premier League title, while Everton will need Pickford to be at his very best to take anything from the game.
The run-in does not get much easier for the Toffees after they visit Anfield, though, as Moyes’ side then lock horns with Arsenal before facing a trio of fixtures against Champions League hopefuls Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Everton are currently enjoying a nine-game unbeaten run in the Premier League, but Pickford will be called into action in the coming weeks amid his efforts to keep his club’s impressive streak intact.
