The Friedkins confirm intriguing Everton development as official paperwork filed

Big changes are heading the way of Everton over the coming months with the summer transfer window set to open.

However, there have been nonstop changes on Merseyside since The Friedkin Group was handed the keys back in December.

David Moyes has been the biggest change made at the club, with the 61-year-old transforming Everton’s fortunes on the pitch.

But there have been other changes made as Kevin Thelwell will leave Everton at the end of the campaign.

The Friedkins are looking to make significant changes behind the scenes to how the club operates ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Angus Kinnear is set to join Everton from Leeds United as the club change up their recruitment structure.

And there has now been another development confirmed behind-the-scenes as Everton have already submitted the paperwork.

However, the club are continuing their work with changes at boardroom level.

On Monday, documents were submitted to Companies House noting that Eric Williamson had been appointed as main board director at Everton.

Williamson is someone very familiar to the Friedkins as he is currently the President and General Manager of Gulf States Toyota.

That is part of the American billionaire’s portfolio of work over in the United States, with Williamson someone the family work closely with.

The Friedkins are now looking to buy an NHL team after their failed attempts to buy the Boston Celtics earlier this month.

However, there is still the belief that the new owners are ready to back Moyes in the summer transfer market, as they put plans in place.

Everton set for a busy summer under the Friekdins

The Friedkins are looking to completely transform this club around from the struggles endured under Farhad Moshiri.

Already, Everton fans are excited to move to Bramley-Moore Dock following the second successful test event held on the weekend.

It is set to be a really interesting summer for the Toffees with the club poised to offload numerous players at the end of their deals.

Bramley-Moore Dock will transform Everton’s finances and will offer the club greater freedom to spend in the market.

And the Friedkins are putting the right people in place to make sure the correct decisions are made for the club’s success.
