Declan Rice got his second assist for Harry Kane in four days as England won 3-0 at home to Latvia on Monday night.
After Reece James’ impressive free-kick opener, Declan made a positive run into the 18-yard box and put the ball on a plate for England’s captain to tap in for 2-0.
Eberechi Eze got England’s third goal of the game before Declan and Myles Lewis-Skelly - the latter making his second start for the Three Lions - both made way on the 79th minute.
England are top of Group K with six points in the World Cup qualifiers, kicking off the Thomas Tuchel era with two confident wins.
Elsewhere on Monday, Thomas Partey scored the first two goals of Ghana’s 3-0 win away to Madagascar, Mohammed Kudus wrapping up the win.
Ghana are top of Group I of the World Cup qualifiers with 15 points from six games, five points ahead of second-placed Madagascar.
Partey headed in a Jordan Ayew free-kick and then headed in an Ayew corner.
Last but not least, Jakub Kiwior played 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet in Poland’s 2-0 win at home to Malta.
Karol Świderski got both goals of the game to keep Poland top of Group G in the World Cup qualifiers.
