West Ham star Jarrod Bowen was handed his 16th England cap as the Three Lions beat Latvia 3-0 on Monday.
Goals from Reece James, Harry Kane, and Eberechi Eze ensured that new England boss Thomas Tuchel has now won both of his games in charge of last year’s Euro finalists.
Most importantly, the Three Lions have made a successful start to their World Cup qualifying campaign and sit top of their group.

Bowen struggles for England
West Ham star Bowen was involved in the action on Monday for 61 minutes before making way for Crystal Palace star Eze.
The Daily Mail handed Hammers star Bowen a 6/10 rating for his efforts against Latvia and said: “Offered some flashes of danger without delivering an end product.”

The Sun also gave the West Ham wideman a 6/10 rating and stated: “Worked hard but didn’t quite take his chance with Bukayo Saka out injured.”
BBC Sport handed Bowen a less generous 5/10 and said: “Showed plenty of effort, but it didn’t quite click for the West Ham forward.
“He is a quality player, but has to take his chances when given them in an area of the pitch where England have lots of options.”

Tuchel’s tactics could suit West Ham star Bowen
England can be pleased that they defeated Latvia 3-0, and are already capable of enjoying comfortable victories just two games into Tuchel’s tenure as boss.
But the Three Lions will feel that they could have been more clinical on Monday, as even record goalscorer Kane missed two great opportunities to score, as well as notching his 71st international goal.
Bowen arguably epitomised England’s performance against Latvia, as the West Ham man showed plenty of promise but was not able to provide his usual clinical edge in the final third.

Bowen is a key man for West Ham
However, by selecting both Rashford and Bowen, Tuchel has shown his preference for using traditional widemen as opposed to shunting playmakers such as Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers out wide.
Manchester City’s Phil Foden did start out wide in England’s win over Albania on Friday, but was replaced by Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon, who is arguably the most direct winger in the Premier League.
Tuchel’s preference towards that style of winger could suit Bowen moving forward, provided he continues to get himself into the England squad.
