Former Newcastle United player pays homage to Alexander Isak after sensational Baller League…

Newcastle United were represented in KSI’s brand new Baller League which officially kicked off on Monday night.

Many players have gone on to have interesting careers after leaving the club, some players turn out to be World Cup winners while others bounce between teams in pursuit of consistency.

The Baller League is an opportunity for out-of-favour professional footballers to prove their worth and show their abilities in the five-a-side game. Alan Shearer manages a Baller League team alongside podcast partners Gary Lineker and Micah Richards. It is Shearer’s first role in management since leaving Newcastle United following their relegation in 2009.

The Newcastle legend wasn’t there to watch his team play on Monday, but ‘Deportrio’ got off to a winning start thanks to the likes of former Burnley man Marvin Sordell as well as ex-Crystal Palace ace Bakary Sako.

Shearer wasn’t the only former Newcastle player to be taking part in the Baller League, however, two other players were drafted earlier in March and made their debuts on Monday.

One player, in particular, stole the show with his brilliant performance and even took the time to pay tribute to Toon star Alexander Isak.
