Jadon Sancho is once again at the centre of transfer speculation as reports indicate he could be on his way back to the Bundesliga this summer.
The 25-year-old winger remains in limbo regarding his long-term future, with his loan spell at Chelsea nearing its conclusion and Manchester United yet to provide clarity on his situation.
Jadon Sancho’s return to Germany has been a recurring topic since he initially left the Borussia Dortmund for Manchester United in 2021.
Having made a name for himself in Germany, he was expected to take the Premier League by storm, but his time at Old Trafford has been disappointing.
A fallout with Erik ten Hag saw him sidelined from the squad, which led to his loan move back to Dortmund in the second half of the 2023/24 season.
Although he made an impact in his short spell, financial limitations prevented the German club from securing him permanently.
According to Bild, Jadon Sancho is now open to rejoining Borussia Dortmund once again.

His current loan deal at Chelsea includes an obligation clause, which would see the Blues sign him for €30 million if they finish 14th or higher in the Premier League.
However, Chelsea have the option to bypass this by paying United €6 million, effectively freeing them from the agreement.
If Chelsea opt out, United will be left to find a new destination for the winger, and Dortmund could be ready to take advantage of the situation.
Despite Borussia Dortmund’s interest, they are not the only Bundesliga club monitoring the situation.
Bayer Leverkusen have also been linked with a potential move, with Xabi Alonso looking to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.
Jadon Sancho’s next step remains uncertain, but with the summer transfer window approaching, his future could soon take another major turn.
